Blogtober14 Day 8: A Letter to myself in 10 Years

Dear Samantha,

Wait, why am I being so formal? After all I am writing to myself so I guess I should say… Hey Sam! Wow, a lot has happened over the last 10 years. I’m so proud you didn’t give up on yourself even when you couldn’t see the light at the end of the tunnel. You’ve been married for 15 years and have several thriving businesses!

I can’t believe you convinced James to pack the kids up and move to Italy for a whole year! And you didn’t think the Italian lessons would come in handy, but they did. It helps to be able to speak the language while showing your clothes at Milan fashion week every year!

Oh and I love your brownstone in New York. I know you’ve always wanted to move back but your husband really wanted to stay in Florida. Great compromise having a home in both places.

The kids are all so big and grown up! You guys really did a great job raising them. I know you’re so proud of each and everyone of them.

You never stopped believing in yourself and it really is paying off more than you could have ever imagined.
