My Top 3 Eyeshadow Primers

     I'm always on a quest to find awesome beauty products. I'm pretty much willing to try anything at least once. Usually I've got 2 eye primers that are in heavy rotation in my make up arsenal but recently I've come across a 3rd option. I figured since I've done the leg work I should share with you my top 3 favorite eyeshadow primers ranging in prices from $1 to $24.

e.l.f. Essential Eyelid Primer $1

     At first I was skeptical about a primer that costs only $1 but I remembered not to judge a book by its cover. The other e.l.f. products have been good quality so I went for it and I'm glad I did. The e.l.f. Essential eyelid primer is very runny but that makes it easy to apply. My eyeshadow doesn't have that POP to it but it does have a decent amount of staying power. For a buck you can't go wrong if you need to grab something quick. It will hold you over until you can get your hands on your go to primer. 

Urban Decay Primer Potion $12-24

I feel like there isn't much I can say about Urban Decay's Primer Potion that hasn't already been said. It's a great, quality product that lasts all day. It makes your eyeshadow colors stand out and you don't need a whole lot. With prices ranging from $12 - $24 you won't regret buying it. 

Kat Von D High Voltage $15

I just had to save the best for last. The High Voltage primer from Kat Von D is hands down my favorite! I don't think this cosmetics line gets enough hype. This is in fact THE best eyeshadow primer around. Of all 3 primers this one has lasted me a very long time. You literally only need a dab to cover your entire lid. The formula is thick and creamy. It gives your shadows something to really stick to. When I use High Voltage not only do I get amazing color pay off but my eyeshadow lasts and lasts. For the fantastic quality it is definitely worth $15.
